When your drinking its the alcohol talking and it doesnt give you the ability to just say whats on your mind rationally ! Its all in short term thinking. So come on think if your sober!

When I'm drunk I talk $hit. I will tell someone something totally off the wall and then of course forget about it the next day. When I first started dating my husband I told him I killed someone when I was 15 and served 3 years in a youth detention center. Totally forgot I told that until after we were married and he brought it up.

Alcohol does bring out the truth not at bars. Look if you are having a problem at home and there was something you always wanted to say but couldn't alcohol give a lot of people the excuse to say it.

"No question about it tammy!
Drunks are headed towards death. Unfortunately, those who drive while under the influence kill innocent people. We gotta get drunks off the road and into AA.
I've watched videos of cops trying to pull drunk drivers over on the highway. Many of them will not pull over. Those that are successfully apprehended cannot usually even talk straight or walk properly. It's a site to see them on TV."

I disagree, having studied the field, you should know and not disregard the fact that alcohol, lowers your inhibitions and in most people once that occurs their sub-consious controls the functions of not only short term memory but the part of memory the suppresses thoughts ,fantasties, past memories...so in fact it is possible to hear people confess things or speak their true feelings due to the mind not enabling fear or retaliation.

Think we humans have lots of personality traits and mostly we stick to the one that is what makes us, us. Drinking sort of unlocks other traits of sorts...makes some people cry, get giddy, some have a good time while others get violent...like the alcohol takes over and good judgement and sound thinking dissapear....has to mess with the brain activity and differently with all people...just my opinion

the influence of alcohol allows us to let go of our everyday inhibitions, our subconsciencly conscience desires. it allows us to act on them rather than act against them, thus the saying drunk actions are sober thoughts. so in the end every thing you say and do under the influence of alcohol is very much true, you just don't have any control of them.

alcohol relaxes inhibitions, so no it's not always truthful. you can lie more easily, in fact. but it also make it easier for you to open up and say what's on your mind if you have a problem doing it sober........notice i have no problem saying what i think ANYtime!!!...lol

not sure what you are referring to but I do recognize the thought process. Read your question again when you come back down.
