My own family takes precedence over my birth family. This a family that I have chosen to begin and be a part of. It was a choice that I made as an individual. My birth family remains family, and the relationship does not die or suffer because I choose to be with one I married or gave birth too. You see your babies need you more than your siblings who'd I'm sure be adults. But your kids need the mothering, nurturing, time..... the list is endless. Your spouse needs you there too otherwise what's a marriage if you are not together. There are all those dreams that you shared, a life together that you've promised each other, those special moments to cherish. those growing up years of the lives that you both helped create.

my kids are more important than anyone cause when everyone else like my husband, parents, siblings are all gone my kids are the ones who will be changing my diapers and feeding me when im old and feeble. Ive already made them promise to never put me in a nursing home LOL

It would be a tough decision. I completely understand where you can be torn between the two. I also believe that once you establish "your" family (you+husband+kids) that they come first.
