It just washes away your body's natural bacteria, putting you at increase risk of infection. You'll probably be fine, just don't do it again.

Don't worry about it too much hon. My advice to you though, is not to do this again. The American College of Obstetrician-Gynecologists recommends that women do not douche, because douching causes sloughing off of cells within the vagina and can disturb the delicate Ph as well as destroying some of the bacteria that are needed to keep the overgrowth of yeast cells in check. The vagina cleans itself, and actually during the time of a woman's period, it is the cleanest. However, with your thoughts in mind about the "messiness", just clean yourself externally with soap and water, and you should be fine. Try to stay away from those products that are intimate feminine washes. They aren't necessary and the harsh products and heavy perfumes that they contain can cause irritation in the delicate tissues of your vaginal area. I have recommended to patients in the past, as well as my own daughters that a pantyliner should be worn for the first day or so after they think thier period has ended, because sometimes a day or so will pass and then surprise! It just keeps things from getting too messy. Hope this helps.

Some people are allergic to all those "feminine wash and/or spray" products. Actually my doctor told me years ago that they are bad for women as they wash away the natural lubricant provided by nature for women that protects women from all sorts of problems. If you bathe regularly, you don't need to use any of that stuff. If you have a yeast infection, either try a medicated douche first and if that doesn't work, see your doctor.

It's for external use because of all the perfums and chemicals in it. If you didn't have a yeast infection before, you probably do now. It's a very sensitive area, and putting it internally will upset the ph balance. It will flush itself out on its own. It may have caused a yeast infection though.

follow the directions and don't try to totally disinfect inside yourself. You will end up getting a yeast infection or a urinary track infection because you will be killing all the "good" bacteria which regulate things in there. You can cause some serious problems by being hyper-hygenic. Cleanse thoroughly on the outside and try to relax and let mother nature do her thing on the inside.

Use a product made just for yeast infections Get them at any pharmacy). Those other things will make it worse. Also don't take baths with bubble bath or any added stuff because that throws off the PH balance in your area. Don't use wipes either. Just clean with water. Drink a ton of water- that helps. good luck!!!

its ok, youl be fine, but the next time it say external use only ,,, follow the diresctions, lol, it says that becuase that area is really sesitive , you could burn or iritate it more, =using it where it doent belong, think about it it says dont put in your eye, would you then go and put it in your eye??, no you wouldnt , think about it that way, only put it where it belongs, or you could be at the risk of hurting yourself.
