i have this pair of g-star jeans but the tailor altered it too short. what can i to to wear it w/out looking uncool?

I think u can wear it lower...below ur waist even... to make it look okay... of not... u can wear cool socks and match them with high heels so ppl will think that u are trying to show off ur heels....
if u still dun like the idea.. what i suggest u to do is to turn it to a mini jeans shorts... or u can add some lace at the bottom to lengthen the length....

or alter it into jeans skirt

You may want to consider unbutton and unzip and wear it lower....
Or you can wear it with a boots.....
