I am 100 pounds and 5 foot 6. I don't gain weight when I eat something, but I do lose weight very easy. People have told me that I'm too skinny but I think that my legs could still lose a couple of pounds. I want to get down to maybe 97 pounds. Is this a sign of becoming anorexic? Should I continue how I am or lose the pounds?

Maybe you could think of it this way--you don't want a specific weight, you just want to work on your legs!
I was between 95-105lbs (I'm 5' 6" too!) my first three years of college and I looked great--Then I drank a lot my senior year and didn't exercise that much and I gained 10 lbs and I'm still exercising it off.
Just take care of yourself and if people say you're too skinny don't worry about it. Just tell them you're blessed with a fast metabolism. They'll envy you for that!!

I don't think you need to lose weight but you're fine. I'm 5'5" and 95 lbs. so kinda in the same situation...but I do cross country, track, and am a dancer also. As long as you're active and healthy then it shouldn't be a problem. But why do you want to lose weight? I'm trying to gain it...

You are underweight right now.
To lose any more weight could put your health at risk.
I am not a doctor or psychiatrist and cannot diagnose you as anorexic or not.
If you would like to know for sure, please book an appointment with your family doctor and he or she can refer you to a psychiatrist for a proper diagnosis.
Wishing you all the best!

I'm 100lbs and same height, I also want to become lighter and in the 90lbs or even in the 80lb category and I've started to starve to do so, people tell me I'm too thin and I should listen to them I've become depressed because of my weight now please don't get like me, you should talk to someone you're already underweight and you shouldn't get smaller, you could develop an eating disorder, my hair has started to fall out and my periods have stopped, I'm always cold and I faint a lot. I'm slowly killing myself and I don't want the same to happen to you so please talk to somebody

you're fine. I'm really petite also. only you know if what you are doing is healthy or not. 97 lbs is ok for your height but not much lower than that, and there really is no need for you to lose 3 lbs. esp. w/ dancing your legs must be muscular. i doubt there is any fat visible, esp. compared to most americans (if you are american)!
