Instead of using Bare Minerals, theres something that works just as good its called TrueMatch. Its at like every department store and theres a chart you put your hand under nd it tells you the color that is best for you. They have kinds for all different types of skin. or go to M.A.C. in the mall and they have ladies that help you with everything.. =)

Clinique has a foundation that is oil free that works really well it costs about 18-20 dollars as far as finding the right color find a good Clinique girl and have her match you make sure to check out the color in natural light what looks good under the store lights is a very different thing once you go outside

Try Cover girl Aqua Smooth, light to med....after it dries, apply Rimmel translucent power...both together even out drier and oily skin both together would cost ya around $13.00 at good ol' walmart.
To cover blemishes, use a lighter foundation before applying the main foundation, just barely blot on the red spots then spread your regular foundation evenly over your whole face.

You can get something to cover the pimples and red spots before putting on foundation. Check out Lorel' true match foundation. Or Bare minerals, they have one color for the "foundation" and and extra color for highlights so you will be able to match your color easier. Its also a powder foundation so it will help you with your combanation skin.

Max Factor Pan Stik in Nude Ivory, Fair or Porcelain would probably work for you. Good coverage, and not drying. Apply it with a make-up round or sponge and set with a translucent loose powder. I currently like L'oreal's loose powder in translucent.
Good luck. You can usually find both of these products at Long's, sometimes Target, and Walmart.
Good luck!

have you tried using BARE MINERALS? i have been a user for 3 years and i just love it! i very seldom breakout and that thing is good for your skin as it is light and not loaded with chemicals which means it won't clog pores. i buy mine in ULTA stores. i think they have it online too...try it!
oh by the way, i am asian with yellow undertone and light skinned. i also have combination skin and i use the their medium package (my first kit came with 2 foundation powder witn medium and medium beige that you mix together for the perfect medium shade)

OMG, I have the same skin! exactly! i have just started using bare minerals(about a year ago) and it's shear so it doesn't look like any make-up is on but it has GREAT coverage. (it's really bazare) it's also spf 15 and dosn't clog your pores causing a breakout. $18.00 for the jar that lasts about a year. you can get it at Sephora or even on line OR on ebay.

Actully, i recommend you go to the department store like macys, boscovs, etc etc and go to the makeup brand you want and ask one of theose makeup ladies. those ladies are pros and they can help you with anything. theyll know whats best because you are right there for them to help you find the best color. you can even try samples too and theyll help ya with it.
For me, i love Maybelline clear smooth gel foundation. You can also try Maybelline pure makeup. thats good makeup that gives goood coverage and wont clog pores. its oil free and has alow and vitamin e to take care of your skin. its also waterbased which is better for your skin.

i have a friend with your problem. i was helping her find the right foundation. she loved smashbox, but the problem is it only lasted a month. so now she uses mac. good coverage and they are good for combo skin. i know it's a lil pricey, but it's good stuff.
