Men?
Women?
I observe 5-10% of Men wash their hands, which is really literally sickening.

I don't touch the door handle, and if I have to handle a key or whatever I hand it back with a paper towel

Then we all handle the same currency, revolting.

In Japan I'd say 90% of men wash their hands. For women its probably higher (just a guess). Kids maybe 50%.
Me 100%

I would say less than 5% of men and maybe 50% of women. Anyway not near enough of them do. I wash my hands so much they stay dry all the time. I'm pretty compulsive about it, you could ask my husband he says I wash to much. I think its pretty nasty though to go to the bathroom and not wash afterwards, but also you should hold on to the paper and open the door so you don't touch that handle that all the non-washers have. If somewhere doesn't have towells then open door with shirt or something. Most of the time I have a dish rag or wash cloth in my pocket-book just in case.

Recently someone did some observing to gather data and the numbers were really low. In my observation the numbers are WAY lower than they should be. Speaking only of women here.
At work I'd estimate a fair 50% of women wash their hands. In public that number would drop to 30% at best.
Ew.

I have observed the same phenomenum. I not only wash my hands but when leaving I will take my wet towel so I wont have to touch the door handle.

I think more women wash their hands then men. Most of the women I am in the bathroom with wash their hands. I heard that most men don't unless they need to sit.

It really is a moot point when you realize that 100% of the men touch the door handle on their way out!
