yes. you are considered an adult at 17...so you can bring your girlfriend as long as she is with an adult (and you are the adult). so yes

Any theater worth their license would only sell 1 R ticket to a 17 year old, but as pointed out most don't care because nothing is usually done about not enforcing the ratings.

OK first you have to be a parent or guardian to LEGALLY get her in. But what, are they gonna card her? If they do, you lose the price of a ticket. Why can't you go see a movie that is NOT rated R? Why can't you wait until that comes out on TV or DVD if you just HAVE to see it with her?

Say shes my wife and we have come from Utah. It is not good for you to discriminate us. For coming from a quaker family. Give us the tickets we will pay for it. If I was there Id take both of you just to let you see a Rated R movie.

Nope! she needs to be with her parents! Sorry!! You will have to wait until it comes out on DVD!!! You can't get into a rated R movie under the age of 17 with out your parents.

No, you have to be 18, I bought my son and his friend (both 16) tickets to a R rated horror movie. Theater management told me I actually had to be with them in the same movie. so I had to see it too grrrrrrr

just say shes 18 but that she forgot her ID, and you only have yours. Make sure your not buying it from someone who looks like they follow the runs. buy from a teenager or something
