I'm assuming that you are not from the Philippines. To go all the way to the Phillipines to try to meet nice girls will be a wasted trip. Try to meet some nice girls before going there. Exchange emails, pictures and chat with girls who may be interested in finding a boyfriend/husband and specifically in considering you for that position.
When you do meet them, they will almost certainly be escorted by a friend or family member. You must be respectful and be aware that you do not know the culture so take your cues from the girl or her escort.
Be wary. Many people in the Philippines are desperately poor. There are scams and nasty people everywhere on the internet trying to make a quick buck. There is also the possibility of meeting a kind and traditional girl you may want to court and even propose to.

Generally, Filipinas are conservative. although there are some who already acquired modern attitudes regarding courtship. Anyway, just a suggestion, you have to learn more about the girl first before you court her. This is even advantageous to you so you will know if she is really deserving of your affection. You may invite her to go out with you, meet her friends and her family if possible. Start with friendship, Filipinos value friendship so much. Hope this will help. Good luck!

Of course you can ask that, why not? But why would you ask specifically if you an to this with a Filipina? You can ask any girl. Of course you will look silly, but she may say yes. Or, you might end up not liking her after a while and get a fatal attraction on your hands. I say, don't pass up a chance, but take it slow if you serious to court her for reals.

ahhh so you like pinays? we'll you don't actually have to ask her first just be nice to her and she already knows it. just approach casually. however there are still those traditional filipinas that you need to ask permission first. try to guage if shes kinda the old fashion or liberal minded.

sorry, but why would you ask someone to be courted without knowing who they are? i would talk to her, be her friend and see where that goes. if she turns out to be someone you'd like to see exclusively, then you can ask to court her.
