A Question for all?
I'm going to start with a question to whoever is reading this, it is a situaional question so bear with me. You are married to a beautiful wife/husband and have been for a couple of years. One day the both of you decide to concive a child. When the time comes for a period, there isn't one. Two months pass and your she is very much pregnant. Imagine the happiness that the two of you have. One day a thief runs up to her and attacks her viciously stealing everything from her even her wedding ring. He also kills the baby. If he was ever caught would you want him to pay for what he did?
Now, what are your views on abortion.
If your answer is "yes, he should pay" then good.
If your answer is no then let me ask; how is murder accepted when you don't want the baby but it is not ok when you do?

DEEP!!!! I woudl want the man to pay... especially as the husband, having some careless jack*&^ feel free to take what ever he wants from my family.
as a note, the thought of this angers me, cause i get mad at how careless peopel are. In this situation, the man just wanted some cash, and due to his selfish and careless behaviour, he took away a precious life, rearranged many lives in effect.....i just dont know why people dont think. AND in the end, this thief woudl pay, with the guilt he would feel for such a carelss act. for the rest of his life...( or most woudl have guilt about it anyways!)

Yes I think he should pay because he took a life that was not his to take. As far as abortion goes I do not believe that it should be used as a form of birth control but I do believe there are certain situations that it is ok. If you are raped by someone and a pregnancy results from that I think that the woman has the right to choose if she wants to keep the baby and be reminded of that every day or if she wants to abort it. Also if someone is pregnant and they find out that there child will have some sort of problem that is only going to cause the child pain and suffering to only die soon after then yes abortion is ok. No child should have to go through that. But I have to say who are you to judge someone for the choices they make. You are not God. he is our only judge and you need to remember that. You are no better than anybody else and I must remind you that opinions are like *** holes, everybodys got one.

These are two completly different situations in my eyes, in this case it was unwilling for the woman to have this child taken from her. In the case of abortion this is HER choice and not all people view abortion as murder. I personally could not abort a child that was conceived willingly (not rape or incest) but I am not going to take any other woman's right to choose what to do with her body. We all must live with the choices we make and if abortion is outlawed women will just find more dangerous ways to get rid of an unwanted pregnancy.

I dont think you can use this "situation" to fairly debate abortion. the reasons a woman elects to have an abortion can be vast, and are not the same as being physically attacked to the point it causes miscarriage. you can run circles around the points of being anti-abortion, but its doubtful you will change any minds with a violent scenario such as this as an analogy.

A baby is a person. So to me it is murder. And in some situation I can see why a abortion was done even if I do not agree with it. he took her child whether it was born or not she loves the baby.

I am totally pro-life, but think our culture has gone too far for us to change laws to make abortion illegal. We need to change the hearts and minds of the people to where no one thinks this would be an acceptable solution.
We also need to de-stigmatize condoms and birth control, so that more young people are responsible. An attitude of if "you are old enough to have sex, you must be old enough to take precaution" works. Studies show that parents that talk to their kids this way about sex have kids that delay intercourse, and are more likely to use protection when they do have sex. I was one of those kids, actually.
As for your little story, you bet if it where me, I'd want justice for my baby.

Easy - early termination of pregnancy is not regarded as murder by the law in many countries, and obviously not by any woman who chooses this course of action. There are many many reasons people have abortions. You have no right to judge

Either way, 1 things is for sure: If it's not against the law, then it's not. I am in the rare(??) minority of people who can admit that we would have a hard time choosing... even though a zygote. sperm cell, egg cell ,are not "babies" per se.
Are you not used to the fact that ours is a culture filled with inconsistencies and absurdities????
