How come I can not log on to my yahoo messenger 8.0 it will not go past typing in my screen name and pass word that is as far as it goes can someone please help i would appreciate it very much?

Most likely you have a software problem, try reinstalling the messenger, that should help.

could be a software problem or your virus software could be causing it to work properly

that happened to me i had to uninstall and reinstall it
