1. Tell yourself to focus for a good 2-3 hours of study a day or twice a day.
2. Put yourself in an environment without distraction (no T.V., internet, music, iPod, or cellphone).
3. Go to the library, book store, or a quite coffee house (where there are a lot of people studying or doing work)and focus for that couple of hours while there.
4. Have couple of friends study with you (those that study well), so that you are in a place where everyone's concentrating, and you'll be forced to do the same.
5. While lying in bed, before sleeping, review the material you've learned during the day. You retention rate is usually better before sleep.
6. Make a realistic plan, say if you have 10 weeks and 10 chapters left, then tell yourself to know one chapter well per week. etc. etc.
What are you doing on the Internet??? GET OFF NOW, GO STUDY!!!
Best of Luck, you'll do fine!

Pretty difficult situation. Try these:
1. Find out the best time of a day when you feel your mind is fresh and all absorbing. The time varies from person to person. Some people find early morning is the best part of a day, some others feel mid-day is the best. You experiment a bit with yourself and find out your preference. Tackle your tougher subject at the time. Like that according to a difficulty scale allot timings for each subject.
2. Motivate yourself constantly.
3. Relax for some ten minutes after each hour of vigourous study.
4. Find out some thing which can offer you solace and refreshment. Some people drink a cup of coffee or tea, some chew a toffee. What is your choice?
5. Reward yourself for achieving set goals in studies.
6 Plan your study considering all these and work out your plan devotionally.
7. Keep in mind that " Do your duty and keep the result in the hands of Almighty God".
Best of Luck.

What you need is a bit of frank counselling. Stop watching TV till the examinations. You might have seen in papers that TV watching reduces your memory. Your age is for listening to music, watching TV. And since you are growing, you are also disturbed by your biological needs. Just stay disciplined and focus on your subjects. Dreaming about future is no good but fearing about future would do good for you. So I feel you are already on the right track. Just have faith in you that you would do well in your academic endeavours and stay focussed!

Any one can make mistakes in life. Just don't worry about what has happened. In any case you have not had an intercourse. You had just had a kiss and touch. Try to forget it and carry on with life. Once you have realised that its a mistake and when u have decided that you wont do any such things in future, you don't need to be worried. Mistakes do happen in life. But, you have to turn it into stepping stones. If you are going to be worried about what others are going to talk about you, life is going to be tough. If you feel you have made a mistake and you had taken the immediate steps to correct it then you don't need to worry about any one and any thing. Have some faith and Trust in yourself and dont look at life and others always with an eye of fear and untrust. Have confidence and Trust and carry forward in life. You will come out with amazing colors. Good luck

Your will is the only answer to this , and I feel that you know your responsibilities and you are aware of the consequences if you fail. Just adjust your frame of mind that music,TV, Serials are going to be there forever and you have 100% access to them any time you want, career is what you dont have and your focus now should be on this because you dont have it till now. So, Pray to God & make ur will power strong & I know You can Do it.
GOODLUCK & God Bless You.

I wish i could offer some advice. I experienced the same situation at University last year. It's a very frustrating situation. To top that off, i could not read the text book. The printing was minute, and i could not even make it out with my glasses on. Are your courses interesting? Perhaps you should book an appoitment with a school councillor to discuss your problem. They may have some sound advice to offer you. good luck.
