I have allot of preg. symptoms but the home preg. test came up negative, its been around 2 months since I've had sex with my ex boyfriend, I don't have a medical card so I have to pay in cash for a blood test at the doctors office, does anyone know how much a doctor charges for the visit and the preg. test, and if a 16 year old can take one with out a parent with them, I could prob get someone to go with me but don't want to ask them over the phone, I know I made a mistake and I regret it but there's nothing I can do now, I don't believe in abortions so I would never get one and I don't plan on giving the child up for adoption if I am preg. I have family that would help me but right now my parents don't know cause I was waiting till I find out for sure if I am preg. or not, here are some of my symptoms I have more but I don't feel like writing all of them down.
1.nausea 2.bloating 3. I think I might have had implantation bleeding 4.breast tenderness 5.tired 6.heartburn 7.tired

Take another test and take it first thing in the morning, as your hormones will be at their highest. Those pregnancy tests now are very accurate. If you do go to the doctor, they will test your urine, not your blood. You can have a false negative result but if it comes up positive, you are DEFINITELY pregnant. Your symptoms do sound like you are, and whether or not you do decide to keep the baby or put it up for adoption, you absolutely need to see a doctor, because it is very important that you start taking great care of yourself, take special vitamins, and go for regular visits to make sure everything is OK with the baby. If you really feel this was a mistake, and your boyfriend is not in the picture anymore, and you are 16 with your whole life ahead of you, I do strongly urge you to consider putting the baby up for adoption. There are so many people who cannot have children who would be so happy to have a child brought into their lives. I know it's a difficult time and a very hard decision, but having a baby is extremely challenging. I'm older than you and married, and it has been very hard...lots of crying, I have to do my whole schedule around my baby, I haven't had a real night of sleep since way before I was ever pregnant. It's good that you feel your family will be supportive, but realize this will be the end of your current life as you know it. You're 16 and will want to hang out with friends, go shopping, date, go to movies, do normal, girl teenager things and this will change all of that. I hope you are not offended by this advice. You need to find out immediately if you are pregnant, and then you REALLY need to think about your future and the future of this child. Good luck girl.

well i am not really sure about the doctor's office stuff, but if the test was negative, when was your last period, if it was over a month ago you should probably go to the doctors and have them do a test just to make sure you aren't or to make sure there is nothing wrong. if your family would be willing to help you out if you are then just ask one of them to go with you, because if you aren't then maybe when you go you should get on birth control, and i know a lot of places make you have a parent there with you to get birth control. also some places will call one of your parents and have them come to the doctors office so you can tell them that you are pregnant before you leave. (at least that is what my friends doctor did), i am not sure if it is like this with every place, but i hope that this kind of helps you out. don't be afraid to tell your parents, they probably know more than you think anyway. and good for you about the abortion and adoption things.

Girl what are you doing having sex with guys!?!? haha no i'm kidding, i know it's fun right? but you have to be sooooooo careful hon! Always always always from now until you're like 80....use protection. Because unfortunately it isn't just pregnancy you have to worry about.

A false negative on a home test is very possible and if you haven't gotten your period (you haven't have you?) then there's a very good chance you are preggers. I can't say how much a visit to the doctor will be if you don't have insurance..it's going to be much more than if you did. It really just depends. Another option is one of those free clinics...like lifeplan or something like that. They help people in your situation hon. Also what i would do is today, like right now, go and get another home test. Take it, and if it's positive ok. Then wait a week. One week. Go and get that exact same home test (same brand and everything) and take it again. If it's positive, then there ya go. It's official. Those things are pretty accurate. I know we all kinda wish they weren't, or people many times question the reliability of them, but they are pretty accurate. Like i said, a false negative the first time sure, but a positive is a positive, there'd be no way to fake that (so to speak)

Good luck with your situation. xo

Sweetie...I don't think you are pregnant. You would test positive for pregnancy if you have symptoms such as nausea and implantaion bleeding. When you are pregnant your body releases a pregnancy hormone called HCG. Every week you are pregnant this hormone doubles. At 4 weeks pregnant (one month since the first day of your last period) your body has produced enough of the hormones to result in a positive home pregnancy test. It is also around 4-5 weeks when your body has produced enough of these hormones to cause you to have pregnancy related hormones. I was 8 weeks pregnant when I got morning sickness with my first pregnancy and I never got sick with my second. Bloating and breast tenderness are also signs that your about to get your period. If I were in your situation I would be freaking out...but just calm down! Instead of calling a doctor call your local Planned Parenthood. They will see you confidentially. I don't think they will inform your parents. Good luck...
