I am able to hear it on Real Player and Sonic Stage. I have a Sony VAIO Laptop with Windows XP.

check if you put it on mute

yea check ur mute if not then go to start control panel then sounds move them up while playing a song maybbee its off on there

check the wires on your speakers and then go to help on your real player. That might help.

uninstall the media player and again reinstall again... remember its a Microsoft product - so it would keep up the same legacy!

Do you accidently have it set on the "DEAF" setting?
