I think all human beings are jealous at some time in their lives ,but a man that has a happy stable ,loving marriage is not usually jealous.

Everyone can get jealous given the right circumstances but in a loving, trusting relationship there shouldn't be jealousy since this usually means a certain amount of distrust.

My situation: I've known this guy for like 10 years. Nothing ever happened between us. I'm married now, and this guy comes to my work (Walmart) and doesn't buy anything...he comes up just to see me and talk for like an hour or so. My husband (works there too, same EXACT shift as I do) gets pissed every time he comes in. He's not jelous, he's just affraid of what this guy is capable of. Josh (the guy, not my husband) asked me once if "He (my husband) can make me as happy as I (Josh) can." So I know he wants me....He gave me his really expensive cell phone when mine broke (I've had issues with T-mobile in the past dealing with broken cell phone, and didn't want to go through all that hassle again) and I accepted it. Dan (my husband) got furious and went on a rampage to "put this guy in his place"
Moral: I know my husband knows that I love him very much and would/could NEVER cheat on him, especially with Josh...so he is not jealous of the attention this guy shows me, he is just scaired that just one time if I go out to smoke by myself, something could happen to me "It happens to people every day, and I'll be damned if it happens to you!"

No. My husband is not jealous. Jealousy is not a good thing. It can lead to very bad things if you're not careful.

We all feel jealousy at times. Just as we sometimes feel hate, or lust, or have racist feelings or any number of negative things our psyche can come up with.
Having these things pop into our heads is pretty common. It's how we deal with them that makes us cool/uncool - good/bad.
A healthy, well balanced adult ought to be able to temper jealous feelings with rational behavior that doesn't hurt himself, others or an otherwise good relationship. If he (or she) can't temper those feelings with appropriate behavior, then other people are well advised to stay away from them.
