Was your first period after pregnancy completely different than your period before you got pregnant?? Mine is completely different, from the pains, the amount, and consistency... Is it suppose to be like this??

Unfortuntely it is like this for a lot of woman. Consider hormone pills to get this back under control.

Yes, for a while after I gave birth my periods were much lighter (less flow) and a lot less painful. My doctor said that was normal, because of hormonal changes. Over time the periods got back to normal.

Ask your doctor about it.

My periods prior to child birth were irregular,heavy, 10+ days long and horrible cramping that would put me in bed for a couple days every month...after they got much lighter, shorter, more regular and best of all the cramps went completely away!!!

I used to have some bad cramps before I had my first child,But then I had the period from hell the 6 week period !!!!! then everything was great for about 12 years then came the hysterectomy at 33 just keep an eye on it right everything down. talk to your dr.

Yes it was for me. Each person is diff. But Mine were more intense. It will get better after the second period.

I NEVER EVER used to get cramps. That is until I gave birth. Now I get cramps every single month and they are incredibly painful. My doctor didn't seem to think it was an issue.

Never mind allowing us to determine this issue, the neglect of which could cost you , at worst, your life!
GO TO YOUR//or any//OB/GYN. If you no longer have a specialist, ask a general doctor or hospital to refer you to one.
