When a game or program is run on my PC, after a short amount of time a European siren-like sound is pruduced from the tower, NOT the speakers. It only stops after I exit out of the game or program. Occationally it will do it when a web site has been up for a while too.

Help

Run it with the cover off you need to find out exactly where the noise is coming from. Fan? CD/DVD rom drive? Or your hdd may be on the way out. Back up asap just incase

Here is the best I can come up with:
Obtain and install TweakUI.
Choose the General tab, and turn off the Beep on Errors option.

You can get TweakUI from this link:

You can also go to http://www.monicaadjemian.com/mofomon for more help.

I really dont know about this one. Sorry! But if it makes the sound at startup then it is a RAM issue.
