I'm sorry ,but I'm siding with the butt-crack.My son was born with NOBUTTIDIS and is forever showing the split.We've tried belts,elastic waists and long shirts.Although we've yet to cure NOBUTTIDIS ,we will always move forward in our endeavor.Don't bring attention to it publicly.Quietly go up to the person and politely tell them.It's the nice thing to do

I would say something.
but how to tell them i am not sure because some people are sensitive but normally i would ask if they were planning on be a plumber because you got the crack down.

i have no idea of what to do in these situations... one time we were entering our class and it was not a student showing their butt crack but a TEACHER!!!!! we just sat down and said nothing, but it was really frustrating cuz anytime you needed to tell the teacher something it was like staring at you, really weird believe me!

do a quick analysis of his persona and decide if he seems like the type that would intentionally allow this. If not then find a kind way to alert him---sort of like the XYZ for zipper down routine.

i think it would depend on the person and how well you knew them,. but a but crack could end up the but of some wise cracking joke.
