Do famous people wish they weren't?

Question

I know some people who aren't famous that wish they were. Does it go both ways?

Yes. Many people have no clue what fame is really like and even though they dreamed about it all their life they realize there is a Hugh down side to it. You can't shop in stores unless it's after hours and you pay a hell of a lot to get them to stay open just for you. Your expensive wardrobe is all but useless after being seen in any given outfit once. Your never sure ifm someone really wants to be with you or are they using you as a stepping stone. All your dirty laundry can be ripped out of the closet and put of page one. Reporters and people taking your picture say the meanest things to you just to get a reaction. And believe it or not, the worst thing of all is that nobody tells you no. Any self destructive traits you have go on and on and not kept in check.

It is a case of getting what you wish for. Famous people become famous because they work a craft that catapults them into fame and fortune. The really talented types, such as Meryl Streep and others clearly get wary of the hype when it is clear that their talent is bigger than the silliness that Hollywood type reporting publishes. After all, fame insures that privacy is no longer their purvue. If, with the internet, Americans no longer have privacy, imagine all that is dug up on a celebrity that will find itself in print. I think male celebrities who are closeted live in mortal fear of being outed because it can destroy a career or at best maim it and limit choices. Tom Cruise has been through the blender a thousand times, yet he seems to crave the limelight. Robert DeNiro, Jack Nicholson and Susan Sarandon are three who handle the limelight well because they are clearly in charge and comfortable with who they are.
It does go both ways for most people.

see the answer is simple...people like us who are the normal crowd always wish we were famous bcoz with fame cumes money and lotsa lotsa it...u betcha!
but when you are one of these famous people...in other words celebrities...u wish you never were there bcoz the thing we dont know is that these celebrities crave for a normal life which we live in...they crave for family,love,everyhting that we have! so the moral of the story is what goes round comes round...this world is round and we should mostly try to be the crowd than stand out in the crowd!

Of course, otherwise the famous wouldn't go around disguising themselves in public. Even children like privacy occasionaly, and the famous can't get it easily.

I guess some famous people would like to turn off the fame some times. like Johnny Depp, when his daughter was born, him and his wife and his daughter were just comin out of the hospital and the paparazzi would not get out of there faces so Johnny asked if they would please go to the otherside of the street and they could take as many pictures as they wanted. some of them wouldn't leave, so Johnny Depp punched one of them out. then he went to jail, thich sucks a ss, cuz it wasnt even his fault.
but anyway, im sure famous people wish they werent famous sometimes.

They all want to be famous, I don't buy it when they say they don't. I think they like to complain about it. If you say, ok you won't be famous anymore, give us back the South Beach townhouse and your 16 million dollar bank account, they will stutter and walk away!

I bet they do. Who would want random people following them while they shopping for clothes or go grocery shopping? They need some privacy too. I think Lindsay Lohan might be one of them.
