1 newton = 0.224808943 pound force
1 meter = 3.2808399 feet

So:
0.224808943/(3.2808399)^3 =
0.224808943/35.3146669 = 0.006366 lb/ft^3 = 1N/m^3

Now, multiply both sides by 1000 to get kN...

6.366 lb/ft^3 = 1kN/m^3

If kN means kilograms, then

1 Kilogram = 2.20462 Pounds
1 Meter = 3.28084 Feet
1 Cubic Meter = 35.3147 Cubic Feet

1 k/m^3 = 2.20462 lb/35.3147 ft^3 = approx 0.0624 lb/ft^3

I hate unit conversion. So I used MathCad. Mathcad says:

1000N/m^3 = 6.37lbf/ft^3

(lbf = pounds of force, and distinquished from pounds mass)
