I am Quebecer, but I know that Canadian people respect their athletes and hero, good or heel. I don't think that Cena will get a good reception in Toronto. (By the way I hate both of them and I don't like Toronto because of our hockey Canadian feud between the Maple Leafs and the Montreal Canadiens)

I have a cousin living in Toronto,he said that Edge is one of the few wwe superstars from Canada still in action.Christian is now in TNA,Chris Jericho is promoting his band,Chris Benoit is out of action,so I'll guess that they'll be cheering for Edge.I guess John Cena will get a bad reception in Toronto.

Well AbsoluteMart I'm very saddened that you don't like my team, The Toronto Maple Leafs. But that has not a lot to do with your question. Edge being a Canadian will probably be given both a nasty reception and a big cheer because of his citizenship. Too bad you lost your Nordiques and have to root for the Habs now.

Well, I live in the GTA and I sometimes go to the cinema to watch WWE pay-per-views. This year I watched two and at the first one, Edge mentioned that he had flown in from Toronto the night before and the people in the theater went wild. At the other one, everyone was booing him, so it'll be interesting to see how fans react to him at Unforgiven.
By the way, I'll be there, booing Edge as loud as I can. ;)

They are going to cheer on him. Some heels in the past were cheered on whenever they go to Canada especially Montreal.

I don't know, I'm guessing some will boo and some will cheer. I would cheer if a wrestler from my town was a heel, when Davari came to Detroit I only cheered because it said he was from Detroit.

I have never seen Edge in his hometown and he got booed. Every time he gets to wrestle in his hometown, he is always cheered. I don't believe any wrestler gets booed in their hometown. It is natural for the fans to cheer for their hometown hero. I have been watching wrestling for over 20 years and can't think of one time a wrestler got to wrestle in his hometown and he got booed.
