I'm against greed, war, white collar crime, raping the planet, animal cruelty, blunt racism, dishonesty, manipulation and I'm FOR freedom.

But I'm also against infanticide, promiscuity, violence, crime, sugarcoated racism and destroying the black community and the American family, and ABUSE of freedom.

Republicans should switch their elephant to a hippopotamus for "hippo-crisy".

Democrat's should switch to...nah, theirs suits them just fine.

I don't just complain- I do as much as one person can do to make the world a better place. I write to my lawmakers, volunteer and donate. I'll stop complaining when politicians stop lying and keep their word.

Sorry, I was going to answer but I'm as frustrated as you are. Are we ever in trouble. "God bless us everyone" although I think that should be " God help us everyone"
All I can say is live well & cherish those dear to you. If someone is outside the family circle", bring them back in. I have no idea where that came from, love to you & yours....Doug W.

I agree. I registered to the democratic party because they shared similar values to my own. Now that the years have past i am beginning to see that neither party really cares about the people. they both only care about money power and votes. its too bad, i don't when it changed exactly, i think our country would be better off if we had more parties involved and if those parties had equal forum to give their opinion. Maybe then the politicians would work a lil harder to get the vote and keep their promises, since they would have a lil more competition than usual. I don't think either party can claim that it is moral they both fight for causes only as long as it gets them more brownie points. Our democracy is a joke and they have the monopoly on power. When did the people lose control and how can we enforce a change in this system? that is the real question.

Well, keep doing all you can do. I know it sometimes feels as though both parties are wrapped up in trying to hold on to power in the legislature, to the point where they forget about the people who are voting them in. No politician is going to agree with every person he or she represents, but it seems as though lots of them aren't even interested in listening to what people have to say.

I hope you'll use you passion for hating the two major parties and being involved in the government to check out third parties, like Libertarians or the Green Party. They don't have the same power issues, because they aren't in power. They do politics on a much more human scale. Nothing like a third party candidate to bring a little sense to an election!

Do you even know what causes infanticide....? It's a chemical imbalance in the brain after giving birth, can be controlled by meds, and usually subsides after a few months. It's not something done delibrerately. Oh, and I think you need a bigger site than yahoo to fit your ego.
