There is one thing that all teenagers today (13-19 year olds) have in common:
They became teenagers after the 90s were over. (Today's 19 year olds turned 13 in the year 2000)

When I was a teenager in the 90s we used to look back on the 80s as a very old-fashioned decade.
Now that it's the 00s, I'm wondering what today's teenagers think of the 90s.
Do they think the 90s are "old fashioned" or "un-cool" or "un-hip"?
Do they listen to any 90s music? Or wear 90s clothes? Or watch 90s movies?

"When I was a teenager in the 90s we used to look back on the 80s as a very old-fashioned decade. "

I'm old enough to notice a trend with generations. I'm just saying in general. This doesn't apply to every teen:

- Most teenagers in their era think the previous decade was a lame decade as far as fashion and music.

- Teens who do like nostalgia though usually like nostalgia that's 20-30 years old. Not 5 or 10 years old. (Not all teens like nostalgia but I'm saying those who do like nostalgia.)

Some teens might like some of the nostalgia from the first 3 or 4 years of their life because they were alive back then but don't remember it well. So there's a mystery behind what they lived through and they obsess about it. So like a 15 year old in 2014 might think 2002 is fascinating in some way but not 2007.

i mean a lot of teenagers now hate the kind of music in the 90s..there's a lot of great stuff in the 90s but now that the genrations changes there's also a lot of people who really hate it.....i just hate that fact!

I drift on the line between listening to 90s music every day, and listening to the new stuff every day. I like the 90s.

Well, I am not a teenager, I am an adult (21 years of age), and I loved the 1990's that was the craziest decade to live in. The OJ Trial and the hip hop and grunge styles, fabulous.
