I am not sure, but I strongly urge you to call your doctor before you take any medication during a pregnancy. Congrats onthe baby and I wish you a healthy, strong and happy pregnancy.

No, you should not take any med like that except for Tums. If you have questions you can go to a doctor. I know most OB's these days want you to wait until you are 12 weeks along to be seen, but you can request to be seen earlier if you have concerns.
One thing about carrying a child is sometimes you have to endure pain and discomfort for the sake of your child. I just had my third son, 7 months ago, all I took was Tums, I didn't even take a Tylenol, I just dealt with the pain. Even though doctors say certain medications can be used during pregnancy, it is always best to avoid them, for the health of the baby. Congrats, by the way!!

When I found out I was pregnant. I held off taking any medications until I saw a doctor. When I had my first visit she gave me a list of over the counter medications that were not harmful to the baby. I would wait to get the docots opinion. Better to be safe then sorry. My doctor did however say Tums were safe but Roliads are not.

No you should not take any type of medication unless the doctor has prescribed it. The only things that are okay during pregnancy are tylenol.. not advil or excedrin and tums, maylox or any type of antacid like that. Be sure to advise your doctor first, but for the ultimate safety of your baby do not take any over the counter meds.

Get in touch with your doctor in the morning. Even if you're not seeing the doc for a while yet, you can still always call to ask questions. If you're unsure, you should always check with your doctor or midwife before taking anything (over the counter, herbal, anything).
Good luck!

There are several kinds of birth control you can get to prevent pregnancy. Your doctor will have to write a prescription for any of them. You should talk to your doctor and they will tell you which one they feel is best for you.

your best bet is to call a pharmacist. Any 24 hour pharmacy has one and they will talk to you. Don't get this kind of advise from people off the Internet. You need a professional to answer this.

Honey, I am three months pregnant and i had lots of gases and constipation. If its that bad go see an OB-GYN and they will tell you what to do. Me personally, I just dealt with the gases but constipation i ate prunes, lots of food that has fiber in it, or took milk of magnesia. GL
