That was Sister Mary Stigmata (the Penguin) and she used to beat the crap out of us with that ruler of hers. To this day, I still flinch when someone breaks out a ruler.

Thanks for the history. Yea, it was a sad day when they took down my old home. the '80's were tough for me. I lost Jake, I lost my orphanage, and then there was that whole Flock of Seagulls business.

"Filmmakers built a phony front for St. Helen's in an alley just north of 18th and Normal. The alley ran between several buildings in the long-defunct Schoenhofen Brewery, which made Edelweiss beer and Green River pop. All but three of the buildings the Blues Brothers drive by were razed in the mid-1980s, said property owner Dan O'Brien. A fence currently blocks off the passage.'

dont know the name all i know is it had a nun with a mean ruler and a bad temper...that part had me laughing as a lil girl and i still roll watching it...one of the best funny movies made
