I think any affiliation whether is is political, religious, peer pressure etc. hinders our abilility to practise out own critical thinking skills. People have become like sheep, we have out sheeped the sheep.

NO! But the party often does something which I do not approve of. I often feel that politics exists for no other reason than to gain popularity rather than act in the interest of the people. I also consider that the best way to run a country is to ensure that their appointment is for a fixed 5 year term with no possibility of ever being re-elected thereby ensuring that the interests of the people are upheld. I know i would like to see a country run by a Government made up of Christian men and woman.

Occasionally. But for the most part my views on Bush, Iraq, etc are my views and are independent of my democratic party affiliation. It just so happens that my views coincide with those of the Dem's.

I haven't. But that's exactly how Bush got elected twice. Now we have to spend the next 50 years fixing the Supreme Court so that it truly acts on behalf of ALL the people of this country. If it lasts that long, that is.

No...I haven't. My views fall within the party views, but I still think for myself. There have been things that I didn't agree with.

No, I think independently. No one tells me what I should think. I support candidates who agree with my philosophy.
