now, where exactly do they go? Who's gonna give us the land since it's all claimed? Who's gonna actually leave us alone in international (UN-claimed) waters?
Those of you who want to be ruled have your nation states, so where can we who want no rulers set up shop?

A lot of people have started their own countries, they're called micronations. Prince Leonard, of the Hutt River Province Principality in Western Australia, for example. I believe he decided that the Treason Act gave him the right to secede, but I'm not sure his country is officially recognised by Australia.

Get a job, buy the damn land and you can rent out the lots like they did in the old days. Then build yourself a castle and crown yourself king.
In today's day and age we call them the condo association. They often have their own rules, their own laws regarding speed limits and pets, etc. It's about the best you are going to do.
If you don't like that, get yourself a yacht, and a passport, then live in on the international waters...when the weather is bad, visit a country until it blows over.
