It's really good, and interesting to see the results of studies that you might not think affect a person's economic status. You should read it, it is a little freaky.

I thought it was disappointing - the individual stories are great, very interesting but there's no overall view of how economics works, just lots of stories.

I loved that book! I'm not usually a big non-fiction reader, but Freakonomics was one of my recent favorites anyway. The "chain of event" analysis was eye-opening. Hope you enjoy it too!
