That is the rumor that the LA Times printed in June. Supposedly they are closing this Six Flags and several others. They plan on selling Magic Mountain to developers so that they can make houses. The article also stated that Magic Mountain does not make enough because it attracts teenagers who do not spend money. Supposedly it is families that spend money at amusement parks. Ironic isn't it, when you consider that Magic Mountain specializes in extreme rides, that only people old enough to not need or want their parents to go with them are interested in.
