I feel ridiculous even asking such a question, but here's why:
I was talking to my sister earlier and we were reminiscing about highschool. She was telling me about a time when her and her girlfriend wanted to see what it would feel like to get high, so they tried smoking catnip, rolled in a piece of notebook paper.
I asked her if anything happened, and she said the only thing she remembered was that the so called "joint" caught on fire.
Ridiculous, I know!

Nepetalactone, the same chemical that relaxes humans, is thought to be involved in causing the opposite playful response in cats. Most species of cat, including tigers, respond to catnip with lively behavior. Some unsubstantiated reports attribute similar but milder euphoric effects to catnip when humans smoke it or take in large amounts. No research supports this belief, however.

I don't know but I saw this episode from Beavis and Butthead and if you lick a frog whoooooaahhh nelly you might take a trip and not find your way home. CatNip does look a bit like some good ole fashioned Bong Food.

no, its a member of the cannibus family as is hemp, but the thc level is minute. i did have a cat that could suck the middle out of a joint and leave the paper intact.
