I have never had a black eye (*touch wood*) but I am a bit clumsy and have fallen over and gotten some lovely bruises on my legs. I usually use a bruise cream, go to the chemist (aka drug store for Americans) and they should be able to point you in the direction of a cream that will help get rid of the bruise quickly.
What I do, and not sure if you can do this for your black eye is but I use a warm/hot compress on my bruises and rub the bruise to try to break up the clotted blood. Don't know if it will work for a black eye. But wetting a face towel with hot water and placing it on the bruise works for me, it gets rid of the bruise naturally and usually fades in a few days

The traditional method is to use cold raw meat, which has natural elements to help healing and the temperature to decrease swelling.
However, a black eye is just a bruise, that is little droplets of blood that are coming to the surface because of internal injury.
If you want to hide it, you need to disperse the droplets so that your system brings them away.
Apply ice or the cold raw meat to stop the swelling, then rinse and get some aloe gel and gently rub in a circular motion. This will slowly disperse the droplets

A black eye is a bruise and a bruise is a discoloration caused by blood seeping into the tissue. Bruises fade as the body cleans up the dead cells.
You can help the process along by applying hot and then cold compresses or folded cloths. That will stimulate circulation or the faster removal of the dead cells.
Be careful not to burn yourself.
If all else fails, go to your local pharmacy and ask for waterproof makeup to cover scars and birthmarks.

Wait it out. A black eye is a bruise and it takes time to heal. The main purpose of cold steak or ice is to bring down the swelling. But when you do that it also brings all the blood to the surface which makes it worse at first.
