after awhile it goes out. vacume the seats and floor really good, use the kind of powder you sprinkle and then vacume out, and then spray some febreze on afterwards. get an air freshener and then drive everywhere with your windows down for awhile.

Baking soda gets the smell out of a lot things. Open a few packages & place them in the car then let the car air out.
Febreeze should definitely help too. Get the scented but only spray a little per day or you'll gag yourself trying to drive with too much of a perfumey smell.
Oxy clean a little mixed in with some water then wipe down the interior that might also do the trick. But be careful cause you could end up bleaching the seats. Make sure if you have fabric that you use only a little read the directions of the oxy clean & test it on a small unnoticable area.

I would try putting some white vinegar in a spray bottle spraying seats test a little patch first. Id also try some Baking soda any kind even the kind for pets take some baking soda throw it all around and than rub it into the carpet with a slightly damp cotton rag also rub in seats Leave in for a day or two than Vacumm. Than If that doesn't work Id get Febreeze for the car spray your interior except for leather. Id also go to A car part store and see If they have some Upholstery cleaner. Chances are they will have everything you need.

Take some DRY ground coffee, sprinkle it on the carpets. Let it sit overnight and then vacuum the next day. It will absorb the smell. Also, shampoo the seats and the roof of the car professionally.

try placing exposed pieces of charcoal in the car. It absorbs all sorts of smells, not just smoke. If you can't find charcoal, scrunched up newspapers will do the job as well although it won't be a pretty sight and it isn't as effective as charcoal
