Why do you think people that have thoughts of suicide can get help?

Not everyone believes they can be helped by counselors and psychologists. I am a bit skeptical of them myself. I think people should consult with a psychic to talk to the spirits of the dead for advice.

People who have suicidal thoughts are mentally ill. They are depressed. Depression is an illness where chemicals in the brain are imbalanced. There's not enough "happy chemicals". Depression can be cured by balancing the chemicals in the brain through medical treatment (medicines and/or therapy).

Not everyone knows/believes they can be helped and hence some people don't seek help and end up committing suicide. Even if you are skeptical that it will help, what harm will it do you to give it a try? It might save your life and if it doesn't, what have you lost by trying?

Would you refuse to see a doctor if you had cancer?

You probably don't want to hear this.......but what makes you think you can talk to the dead.....anyway ......and even if you could would that be helpful.If there are things in your life that you cant deal with consult your pastor or your doctor or both....There are people that would love to help you but you have to allow them to.......

yeah, i occationally have thoughts of suicide, and my dad saw that i was depressed, and so he made me go to the doctor and now has me on anti-depressants, and they do nothing for me... my dad also had me going to a counselor, but nothing changed, and i didnt want to go anyways, i think that it would be smart to consult with a psychic and all that... u must be pretty smart... i would have never thought of that!!!
