Please name the area and country, so I can make sense. I wanna look for a job as lecturer but I wanna know which country is offering good pay, and benefits. I am two months to completing a PhD. Please help.

At Youngstown State University (Ohio) brand new tenure-track profs make just over $40k. Well, in History. Other disciplines may do better. Its one of the better paying state universities in that part of Ohio and the cost of living there is very low.

Yes, you'll probably find a big difference between areas of the US and schools.

The pay is basically $25 per hour but you generally one get one or two classes, which means you make like $125 a week at a given college.

You usually have to teach at two or three colleges simultanious both day and evening divisions. That means you want to pick an area that had a variety of college

You need to put a syllabus together, pick a text book to use and make a presentation to the school.

If there are not enough students enrolled in your class they could cancel it.

Your best bet is to pick up the PEtersen College guide from Petersen Publications.

The look up cities and see how many schools are there.

You are too late for fall so plan for Spring and Summer sessions.

It depends on the discipline. The top business schools in the US pay first year faculty between $130,000-$150,000. But in the liberal arts, the top schools pay about half that.

Less prestigious schools pay less.
