I won't be awoken until time travel is possible. In the distant future, I'll look at stock market records and come back to now and help myself make a killing! If it's possible, all I should have to do is agree to do it and it should occur automatically. Why isn't this working? I wanna be a billionare. Help me.

One theory is that if (and that's a big if) backward time travel is possible, the object going back in time goes back into an alternate universe identical to our own except with the slight exception of having a time traveling in it.
Following this logic, the "you" who is reading this message could (in theory) accomplish your plan, but the "you" who is getting rich is just in an alternate universe.
This would explain the lack of time traveling tourists who are coming from the future.
Or one could just accept that backward time travel is now, and forever will be, impossible.

I think that's a Steve Hawking paradox. I'm pretty sure he's the one who said that if backward time travel existed, we'd be inundated by time travelers. Since we're not seeing them, then it's likely that it's impossible to travel backward in time.
So... no, you couldn't.

I doubt if that would happen as you say... but there are organizations who do cryogenically freeze people but at a GREAT cost.. so you almost have to be a billionaire to do it..
