During a recent game with some friends, we had this hand. Community cards are two kings and three deuces and the 4 people in on that pot have the following: Pair of fours; Jack and eight off-suit; 7 and 10 off-suit and 6 and 9 suited. I would think that the pair of fours takes it, but we weren't sure on that one.

No, everyone splits the pot. It's the best 5 cards out of ALL the cards. Since the community cards are everybody's cards, everybody has a full house- the two Kings being the high pair and then the set of two's.

I just got done playing a game of Texas Hold 'Em a couple hours ago. I get confused with stuff like that, too, sometimes.

It's a split pot.
Because of the Community has two K and three 2...
and nobody has a 2 nor a K, everybody got a full house
duces full of Kings. A full house, the greater of the set takes the pot, or if more than one player got the highest set, then it is determined by the full house kicker, the pair. If it also even, then it's a tie. Since a full house consist of 5 cards

if the community has two 3 and three 2, the the person that has a pair of 4 would have won because 4 beats 3.
Too bad that a K beats 4

The board plays here so it is an even chop pot. No-one can beat the board here. The pocket fours only make deuces full of fours and that is not better then deuces full of kings, so it is a split pot, There is no kicker when you make a full-house in hold' em because you have to play your best five card hand.

In this hand it would be a four way split pot. This is because no one can beat the Deuces over Kings full house. The board has the best hand so everyone that is still in the pot splits up the pot.

You would split the pot between all four of the players in the pot. The object of Texas Hold 'em is to get the best five card hand out of the five community cards and your two pocket cards. If someone would of had a king they would of won but since EVERYBODY had the same hand you SPLIT THE POT.

4 way split - community hand is full house 2's over kings. If you played kickers, the jack would win, but that's not the way they play on TV.

correct payout is split pot 4 ways.

everybody had full house , 2's over kings.

the pair of 4's is less than the KK, or the 222.
