have you ever had a stalker?

I' ve gotten those crazy obsessed letters put in my bookbag when I'm not paying attention(it happend throughout highschool). why do people stalk, is it lust, or something else? I feel bad though for the people who do stalk, because they never muster up the courage to say what they want, also it's f****n' sick. I would like to here other people's opinions.

Yes you have a point there... I have had like 3 stalkers in my life.... one was a serious one.... they might do it for the heck of it.... I try to put myself in their position to try to understand why they do it.... Maybe it's because they like the person and they really don't know how to approach to that person.... I try to think positive... BUT there are some who seriously don't get it... once you've told them to leave you alone... they bug and they bugg you ....that's stalking!!! ....When it gets too serious... such as, they begin following you around... they go near your house and just stare at your house... seriuosly that's a time to go to the cops.... you don't know if they're criminals or something.... some are simply just to obsessed!!!

I stalk myself and love it if you know what I mean. If the stalker is say under 18 its just the inability to confront and communicate with people or its a crush and people can say weird and stupid things in a letter. It might just be a joke. But if a person older than 18, say a 30 year old is doing this then its much more dangerous and you need to watch your back. But if your in high school or younger dont worry, stuff like this is normal.

I was stalked for a while by an angry ex boyfriend. He finally stopped after a phone conversation we had. He'd call me up and tell me everywhere I'd been and what I'd been doing and how one of these days he might begin to beat me up and he didn't know if he'd be able to control himself enough to stop before killing me, etc.... He kept telling me to stay away from him and leave him alone. Which I had been doing all along. He was following me. I wasn't going anywhere near him. I finally pointed that out to him when he called to give me the list of places he'd stalked me that week. I don't think he realized he was the one who wouldn't leave me alone, not the other way around. He said "Oh!". And after that he left me alone.

I had a guy interested in me and he would stand on the corner from my house and look down to my house, he also hung around my neighborhood but would never approach me or speak. He just hung around and watched me when I was outside. My older brother asked him what he was looking at one night and he said he was looking NorthWest. We thought he was strange and finally my brother told him he was going to kick his *** if he didn't go away and so he did. It is called being shy or just fearing rejection. In the extreme form it is a crime, those people just don't see things for what they are, you are not interested and are not going to be interested and they should move on, for them you are a fantasy that they desire so much they are willing to risk anything to be with you. That is the sick ones.

I'd just like someone ( of the opposite sex ) to pay enough attention to me to stalk me. I know that sounds strange, but I guess that's how it is when you're lonely.

yes. My ex-boyfriend stalks me. He is a control freak. I believe he is insecure with himself and he feels as though he needs someone or something to control to feel better about himself. I think people stalk because of their insecurities with themselves; they feel they can overlook that by making other people feel insecure.

when i was in high school there's this guy whom i always caught staring then everywhere i look he's there...i couldn't say he's a retard but he somewhat lacks something...u know what i mean....then he'd stand by our house and bring something and justy stand there.....later on he got tired maybe....
