Dial up is cheaper but its speed is also limited.I advise u to go for Broadband Internet connection being offered by BSNL which is priced from Rs.250/- per month, onwards. U can apply for one ' on line ' or get in touch with ur local bsnl office.I have no information where u live.BSNL offers in certain places but not villages. Please check it out.

Dial up is good for little things checking e-mails reading short news events etc... and its cheaper broadband is good if you like to hear music watch videos and want to view things faster but it comes with a big price >>>>>dial up price range $8-$20--- broadband $35 and up they offer 6 months at a cheap price or a year but they always raise the price

If u are a serious down-loader or chatter or surfer that u should use broadband connection.Because,
firstly,u have to give both call charge and isp charge in dial-up connection where u have to give only the isp charge in broadband connection. So,Broadband connection is more cheaper than dial-up connection.
Secondly,U can get all ways on connection as well as a good speed from broadband connection where dial-up connection hardly can give it.

Dail up is always going to be cheaper. If you feel like playing games online (especially mmo's), I would recommend getting broadband. Depending on your area, broadband may be around as much as dial up.

I guess it depends what you are used to. Once you get used to the faster speeds dial-up is intolerable. Websites and media are being made for faster speeds and as technology progresses while dial-up stays the same things are going to get worse and worse. If it doesn't bother you then go for it. Personally I just am too impatient. It could also depends what your time is worth to you. It takes forever to do on dial-up on something that could be done quickly on cable and dsl.

Broadband is more expensive in more areas but you don't need a second phone line. When we added up what we were spending on TWO landlines, it made sense to have one DSL line for phone and internet.

I surely have become confident that information superhighway get right of entry to is a great con. 2 years in the past I subscribed to the swifter 8 Mb while the usual grow to be a million and a couple of Mb. i grow to earnings that i could no longer get the completed 8Mb velocity because of the fact my BT line ought to purely take 5.4 Mb ---- nevertheless exceedingly speedy nonetheless yet hardly the 8Mb they have been charging. Then BT made the finished announcement to place all their clientele to 8Mb at not greater cost.... and right here comes the deception --- now that all of us get carry of 8Mb we are all getting 2 to 3 Mb. specific it sounds unusual whether it is certainty. it is deceptive.... it is a deceive promote 8Mb while purely probable purely some p.c. of the inhabitants in England reward from that velocity. The SKY Corp at the instant are "offering" a minimum of 16Mb. i ask your self what they actually propose with that. velocity is significant. A document of 40Mb at 5.4 Mb took 20 seconds to get carry of as adversarial to the ninety seconds it takes me now.
