a picture video collage? I've asked this before & they said I should use a song that describes me but I can't really find one that I like all that much. Um I don't want metal/screamo stuff like that.

More kinda slower stuff. I like anything unless its screamo/metal,hardrock stuff so if you can please help me out with some good songs to use it would be a really good help to me!

lol! I have to laugh...I do those for my clients at work. There are lots of songs you can use. I guess it would help if I knew what the video was for. Is it for a graduation, wedding, anniversary, birthday, sports? Depending on what the subject for doing the video is for will help in what song/songs you may want to use. How many pictures do you have? That will also determine what song will work. You want your photos to be up for a certain amount of time, but you don't want them up there too long or too short.

If it's for a graduation - "Good Riddance" also known as "Time of Your Life" by Green Day is a good one. "I Hope you Dance" is also a good one. "In This Life" - Bob Segar. Those are just a few. Now for a wedding well there's the Beatles - "In My Life". Sports you could use Pat Benetar's "Hit Me With Your Bets Shot" or Van Halens- "Dreams".

I hope that helps just a bit.

Good luck.

When doing a collage the music needs to enhance the emotion, not overpower the photos.

Therefore I prefer more instrumental/repetitive types of songs. I can recommend:

Fat Boy Slim "Weve come a long way baby"

Massive Attack "teardrops"

A lot of Moby's stuff is good background music.

Also Smashing Pumpkins "Tonight" is a lovely piece.

Kaddisfly is an awesome band with lots of good songs. I'm not sure which ones would go with your video, but their songs are soft and somewhat slow, yet unique. Pinch Me by Barenaked Ladies is a good song. Time of Your Life by Green Day is another one. 100 Years by Five for Fighting. 83 by John Mayer. The accoustic version of Just Don't by Nural is good. I'm not sure what the normal version sounds like, but the accoustic one is great. That's all I can think of right now.
