I've got my father's height & my mother's shape of face. I got my blue eyes from my grandfather on my dad's side & my grandmother on my mom's side. I'm not sure where I got my blonde hair. Recessive genes are like that.
And I got every recessive gene in the family! Right down to color-blindness (very rare in females), blood type (O neg) & skin tone (very pale.) Everybody else in my immediate family has dark hair, dark eyes, and warmer skin tone. My dad could pass as Mexican. One of my brothers looks like a cross between Geraldo Rivera & Tony Orlando (Tie a Yellow Ribbon) There is Indian blood in the family, but I apparently didn't get any of it.

My father's side. I look EXACTLY like my uncle's children. All of us have the exact same hair and eye color. We even are all the same height. I asked if he was my father, and was told that was not funny.

How genes combine is thoroughly random, so it must be both. some boys look like carbon-copies of their fathers, both others more beneficial heavily resemble their moms. a chum of mine has twin boys and one seems precisely like his dad. Spitting image. the different son immediately would not look strongly like both. He has good factors from each and each part.

Both really. I have my dad's nose, my mom's eyes, and a mixed hair color. I can curl my tounge like my dad. I have my great-grandmothers cheeks (Or so everyone says) So I don't think I could pick just one. It would have to depend on the person comparing me to my mom or dad.

I look like my dad. It's so weird. I'm pretty, but I still have his face. It bothers me sometimes... at least it used to. I was looking at a picture of him when he was in highschool and my face was reflecting in the glass of the frame. Our smiles were exactly the aligned. It freaked me out!
