You can have those feeling again, they just need rekindling, I have been married for nearly 25 years and my husband still makes me fall in love with him over and over again. I think the secret is spending some real quality time with eachother and getting out of the everyday rut stuff. Do something new together(maybe things you use too do) but got caught up in the day to day drama, there are so many things you can do here, even going through old photos can really bring back some of those strong feelings, or even your favorite songs that remind you of eachother. Life just gets so busy sometimes it's hard to really connect. I would look into the ultimate emotional and physical seduction you can come up with and use it on him. Those feelings will come back stronger and more rivetting because they have had such a long time to become flavored. Good luck!

Love is in many stages, you have the initial falling in love stage, and as you go on, you choose to love. Love is a choice, not an emotion. Feelings can from one moment to the next, and to rely on feelings as a gage on whether or not you stay with someone is a sign of immaturity. Try to let him know that you will stand by him, and keep the romance alive by looking at your behaviour...in other words...keep surprising him...and don't get caught up in that falling in love feeling...just realize that good men are hard to find. Work on keeping him and concentrate on doing things that make him happy. It can't be all about you, love is selfless.

You naturally don't feel the same way now as you did when your love was new, because it isn't new now. It's grown past that stage. Your love has a richness and depth of understanding now that you didn't feel then, so stop complaining and go kiss him.

I think that feeling mellows over the years into a nice comfortable feeling. A feeling of security and companionship. It is a shame to lose the excitement of youth, but it is also nice to feel the deep, warm security of maturity.
