I don't know, but wasn't that in some silly teen flick before. I remember hearing about that. I would hate for a roommate to die, but an I wish I could get an A for doing nothing.

yes it is true, but that is only for the semester. when i was in college i had alot of roommates die on me. if one is going to die one you have them do it at the beggening of the semester. if they die towards the end you had to put in all that hard work and their death was in vain.
