You are smart to think of ways to stretch your budget...and make what you have look sharp.....you know you can take something simple and dress it up with scarfs, necklaces, bracelets, get some of these things at consignment stores, $1 stores, yard sales. For example if you have a brown skirt and creme colored blouse...you can put a leopard print scarf with it around your neck that would jazz up the outfit..plus some wooden earrings...like hoops ...I noticed on tv how plaids are going to be popular...check out the Thrift stores in your city for great buys...vests are cool to go over blouses....when it comes to shoes...you can get some clip on decorations to change a plain shoe.....also I saw how layering is popular this fall...wearing a big sweater or long sleeved shirt over a long skirt.....wow I'm getting excited..I think i'll start making over my old stuff ....lol....one more thing layered jewelery is also popular take a silver chocker necklace and add a thin gold one and more thin silver ones..in layers of different lengths...it's the new trend this year.....GOOD LUCK

If you want to look "trendy" just create your own style with what you have. Following fashion trends is stupid. Doing what every one else does makes you look like a sheep. But if you really need to do it, go to second-hand stores, where you can buy cheaper clothes that are trendy. But just create your own style, be unique, and anyone decent will respect you.
People will respect you even more if your nice, have a bubbly personality, and be yourself. (it may sound corny, but its true)

I don't know it just depends on working with. But most of women's clothes should be skinny around the waist to show of your chest. Also V-neck tops are Hot looking.

You just need to accessorize. Add necklaces, belts or scarves to your outfit and it will look different and maybe trendy, or a nice jacket.

add more accessories, like a belt (layer two or three skinny ones, or just put on one big one) or a funky beaded necklace! also try layering your clothes! this makes new outfit out of what you already have!

Your a dumb hoe, why do you want to be trendy? How about you think for yourself, and stop letting other people tell you how to dress and think?
