Ok, so i have an eMac, running tiger and i think i may have accidently hit a button or something, because everytime i click on a window it reads the title to me. And when i type messages in iChat it tells me every letter that i type. For example if i type "Hello" the computer says "H-E-L-L-O." how do i turn this off?

Try the Accessibility option, narrator unchecked.

After 25 years of rapid computer technology advancement, the computer still doesn't have the intelligence to know when to shut up.

They should have an "I am annoyed with you, IDIOT!" (IAAWYI) feature to let the computer know who the master really is.

Microsoft also has the annoying system help routine that pops out at times when you don't need them and it takes a while to kill them off. Those codes were probably written by programmers seeking revenge after being laid off.
