The Simpson's that are the subject of the TV cartoons have been around almost 20 years starting as shorts on the Tracy Ullman Show. Jessica Simpson hasn't been in the public eye nearly that long. A quaint coincidence, but no cigar.

Are you joking? (Well, I guess you probably are.) The tv series started in 1989. Before that it was shorts on the Tracey Ullman Show for a few years. Jessica Simpson was like 5 years old then. Plus, if you'e ever watched the show, it has nothing to do with her.
