60 seconds = 1 minute
60 minute = 1 hour

because of the 37 second delay that took place, the time taken for the lauch got increased by 37 seconds.

14minutes 42seconds + 37 seconds = 15minutes 19seconds

the next step is to simply add the time taken for lauch and the time at which the countdown started:

7:38:16 + 15 minutes and 19seconds.

always do question involving the addition/subtraction of time step by step.
add the minutes first:
7:38:16 + 15minutes = 7:53:16

next add the seconds:
7:53:16 + 19seconds = 7:53:35

so the rocket will lauch at exactly 7:53:35.

to tackle questions involving time, always remember to do it step by step, tackling the hours first followed by the minutes and then seconds. doing things clearly and step by step is the key.

add the 14:42 untill launch to the given time, then add the 37 seconds that the delay caused. Remember that there's 60 seconds to a minute, 60 minutes to an hour and all that stuff.

The rocket did not take off because there was something and the launch was delayed.
