I think they are ugly anyway, and way overpriced. Does anyone agree with me that it's rediculous to spend a fortune on a purse/bag that is not only ugly, but proves you're only sporting the 'LV' for status? Cause a purse doesn't make me a better person....but I digress....

I completely agree with you! People spend thousands on a stupid bag! That's insane....I don't care how much money you have....that's insane!! There are people in this world who don't have food...and then people spend $1000 on a freaking bag! That is sinful in my opinion!

I agree with you 100%

They are hideous bags, but because celebrities endorse them and waste their money on them, the rest of the world follows.

I would never spend any money on those bags, even if they were pretty. I could buy 10 different bags, that are more practical and more attractive for one LV bag!!!

I am being a little bit of a hypocrite though...My mother's friend has owns an LV store and she got me a bag. I think it is totally HIDEOUS. It's as big as a wallet, brown, with some gold trimmings. The only thing that fits in there are keys and some money. I take it when I have no pockets, but like someone else said, even when it's real no one will pay attn to it since there's just too many fakes around. I can leave this thing on a park bench and return 2 hrs later, and it will probably still be there because it looks so crappy!

i'd say "particular you could have ONE" and make it sparkling that this is in ordinary words one and then close the bag up and keep it through your facet and then in the journey that they ask back you could say "No i favor to maintain those for later, or no i'm sorry" and contain the position you acquire them and tell them the position they could get their own. If it really is a consistent habit situation with a particular individual i'd through all means search for advice from with them about it, this is an demanding behavioral progression and they prefer to be corrected in the journey that they don't favor to develop into seen as a nuisance.

They are made out of a type of leather that would last a much longer time than other purses. So in the long run they could be cheaper. That said, I can't imagin a woman being happy with the purse long enough to wear it out. So it would turn out to be a waist of money. Women love change too much. I've never met a girl who was happy with her purse. They always area hate them and want new ones.

I so don't agree with you. LV bags are Hot! No matter what you say! Oh who gives a fudge if there overpriced! That's the point! It makes you feel good that you have something expensive! I mean if you can afford it go ahead and get one if not... settle for something cheaper and nice or just save up for one if you have too (it's an LV bag... it's worth it).

i totally agree, and with all the fakes out there even if u have a real one ppl will think urs is fake. plus its always brown. i dun even know when ppl starting liking LV so much. it used to be only old ppl. also the 10-15 year olds that are starting to wear COACH bags, i think they're ridiculous too. they wanna seem like they're rich and all grown up. i mean, y do their parents even wanna waste money on overpriced purses for kids? i think 10 year olds shouldn't even be wearing purses.

Are they overpriced? Of course they are. But that's the point. It's human nature to want what we can't have. Nothing makes a purse more attractive than slapping a $1000 price tag on it.

I actually like Louis Vuitton purses... And, people dont get them just for status... they would only get if it they actually liked it... and i believe its only "overpriced" beacuse the leather and the actually making it cost a lot. it has to be in good shape. the zippers actually have to work really well too... and thats pretty hard. i'm sorry, but i disagree with the ugly-ness and overpriced... but most people dont sport if for status, actually getting a purse thats really nice and cute acutally cheers people up, thats what they do for fun or to become happy...

I wouldn't carry a bag I thought was ugly. Some brands are made better than others and LV is one of them. As for buying one just for the label, I don't think it makes me a better person, but it does display that I am a successful woman who can afford some of the nice things in life....and I'm proud of that.

I'm a guy but I agree. LV is hideous and a "Good" purse is one that is strong, practical, and good looking and cheap. I got a 13 year old friend that has a LV wallet, and then the teacher took it away from him because he couldn't stop playing with it. HAHA.

Definitely. A purse that costs more than $100 is worthless to me. I go by what I like and what I find attractive. And, those Louis bags are NOT attractive. In fact most of the ones I've seen are tacky.

People who say they like them are truly just buying it for the name.
