Okay, I know this sounds gross and all, but I believe a true friend is someone you can fart in front of wholeheartedly. I define being truly in love with someone based on similar qualifications.

Really, though, you know you love your family, right? And you can fart in front of them without hesitation most of the time 'cause you know that they still love you and won't leave you 'cause you're gross or something. A good friend should be someone you don't have to fear being 100% yourself in front of, even when it comes to bodily functions. Lolz.

Atrue friend is someone who is your friend through the good and the bad times.
Fair weather friends are only around as long as things are going good.
A true friend is some one who is supportive of you, gives you good advise, listens to you, one you can be your self with one you can depend on. A true friend will share with you, think of you before herself. protect you or speak up for you. Someone who is honest and of good moral charater.

on the other hand WE are our own best friend or our own worst enemy.
