I'm sure It can seem that way if you are not being treated with the way you truly deserve or if one is selfish.
No one can love another person perfectly but you do need to love them the way so their needs and wants are met. That way no matter how it looks to those looking at their relationship from the outside, it's the 2 persons within who know how much love their partner's are receiving.
I think there are times when you can only give so much in your relationship and then your partner picks up the slack and then other times it's in reverse but having someone who you know will be there when you need them to, that is what counts.

for the most part, probably, but I think my husband and I love each other equally. We both can't stand being away from each other for more than 2 days, and in those 2 days we call each other at least 3 times a day, we have to kiss everytime we leave for somewhere and everytime we come home from somewhere. If one of us goes to bed before the other we always kiss goodnight. we say I love you at least 10 times a day. All this and we've been married for 2 1/2 years, I know it's not THAT long but usually the honeymoon phase is over by now.... :)

I think a person can show it differently to make us believe that. We are all different and we all can show our love in a different way. That is why some people like having a relationship. To feel a love that you can not provide yourself. If people don't feel loved enough, why be in the relationship?

The person who's willing to give and sacrifice more without a blame, is the one who loves more.

The one who compares, compete, complaints, are egoistic, self-centered, selfish nut who'll only create troubles for the better-half, as well as for relatives.

When both are in love, they *exchange* their vibrations, not just *taking* from the other.

It has always been that way for me. Now I am starting a new relationship. I will be watching to see if it is true.

you must assume that both people love the same way to ask this question.

It's not so much a matter of more or less, but differently for each.

If each accepts the others differences, why can that not be considered equal?

One love can't be compared to another. All love is unique. On the other hand I think many people confuse other emotions for love.

Happens many times but not always. Thats one reason why it's hard to find true love. And when you find it, it's well worth it.
