Medicare Part D plans--and the prescription drugs each plan covers--can be confusing. Yes, whether these drugs are covered in your Part D plan will depend on what Part D plan you have.
If you would like some help in answering this question from real people--and how it will work if you need to change the Part D plan you have to another one to get the drugs you need--I would recommend that you contact the Area Agency on Aging where you live. You would need to have the listing of all the prescriptions you are taking and the dosages prescribed and also the pharmacy that you prefer to do business with. Professionals at the Area Agency on Aging can provide guidance in helping seniors and their caregivers deal with the peculiarities of Medicare Part D. You will most likely find the professional staff there friendly and helpful--and they are not selling any particular plan or product. They also know the latest "scoop" on changes that are still happening with Medicare Part D in your state. (Yes! More changes are happening!)
If you live in the United States or one of the territories, there is an Area Agency on Aging serving where you live. You can call toll-free 1-800-677-1116 to find how to contact the one serving you.
If you do contact your local Area Agency on Aging and like the help that they give you, let your local county officials and your folks in Congress know. Area Agencies on Aging are funded under the Older Americans Act and they don't have big budgets for advertising and certainly don't have budgets that support campaign contributions!
Hope this helps! Best wishes!

I have been unable to locate a list of all the prescription drugs that Medicare will cover. The more important question for Medicare beneficiaries to ask is, "Which prescription drug plan will best cover my medication needs?"
Each Prescription Drug Plan will have a list of drugs that they will help pay for if you sign up for that plan. This list is called a formulary. There are certain rules for types of drugs that must be on any Prescription Drug Plan formulary. The United States Pharmacopeia has identified 146 different types of drugs for Prescription Drug Plans. Each plan must have 2 drugs from each of these types. They also must include the majority of antidepressants, antipsychotics, anticonvulsants, antiretrovirals (HIV drugs), immunosuppressants, and antineoplastics (cancer drugs).

What kind of drugs are you asking about? Yes some drugs are covered by medicare but it just depens on what kind of insurance you picked for your part D and the list of drugs that are covered by the tiers. You should have received a book with your formulary in it to let you know what is covered and what is not.
Benzodiazpines are not covered by part D, drugs such as Xanax and Ativan are not covered by medicare part D. Hope I helped you a little.

the reason there's a fee value reductions there, is that a million. the government subsidizes the charges and a couple of. there are a constrained variety of drugs which would be purchased. Or, 3, in Mexico, the medicine are pretend or altered. there is not any regulation combating an American coverage agency from paying, yet from a lifelike viewpoint, it is not going to take place.
